Business Meetings
Business meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 8:00 pm in Burke Hall. We gather before the meeting (at 7:30 pm) to pray the rosary.

Fellowship
The Knights host a Pancake Breakfast for the Cathedral community on the third Sunday of every month following the 7:00am, 9:00am, and 11:00am Masses. Please see the parish bulletin for more details.

The Knights also participate in and serve at Cathedral gatherings such as coffee and donuts after Sunday masses and annual events like the Parish Oktoberfest.

Service
As charity is the first principle of the Order, the Cathedral Knights aim to serve those in need. The following is a sampling of our activity within the church and the community.

The Knights assist the Cathedral through various ministries, primarily serving as ushers. Current Knights also serve as eucharistic ministers, lectors, and within the Cathedral’s music ministry.

The Knights prepare and serve dinner to the hungry at Christ House in Alexandria the fifth Thursday of every month with five Thursdays.

Throughout the year, the Knights also support events held by the Bishop. For instance, we assist with the annual Diocesan Altar Server Picnic as well as with the receptions held after special masses, such as the White Mass—held to honor those in the medical fields—and the Blue Mass—held to honor and pray for those in law enforcement and public safety.

Fundraising
Our major fundraising activity is selling Christmas cards through the Knight’s Keep Christ in Christmas Campaign. We sell beautiful Catholic Christmas cards starting in late October through early December after every weekend mass. Just look for a friendly gentleman in a red Knights polo.
